The Damsels Game Episode 147, Dealing with Disappointment

The Damsels are three lady gamers who like to play games and then talk about them. We do more than talk though, we also make videos that we post on our YouTube Channel! The Damsels Game has a few series and tutorials and maybe even animal pics you might like. Thanks so much for listening.

    • Remember last time I mentioned Kerkos had a problem accessing the podcast, some RSS feed problem.  I had asked if he was still having it and how he asked about it.  He responded and said it lasted two more days but it did finally come back around.  He also uses Podcast Addict to get our podcasts.  Hi Kerkos!!!  Thanks for listening via Podcast Addict, through Google Play :).

  • Question of the show –
  • Before we start!

Disappointing Guild Wars 2

We thought we were going to finish Sahba’s personal story but apparently there is a known bug that the devs think is great and they love it so much it has been there for years and years and they aren’t going to fix it so we can’t. We had fun anyway. Tonight we are going to finish up with mine and Lessah’s after a short trip to the land of 7dtd and our personal POV’s.

  • Our two weeks in gaming copycat
  • 7Days to Die
    •  Beyonder’s badlands is fun. We have a lovely home.
    • POV Series is still running, albeit slower than before.
    • So much fun!
  • Ark Survival Evolved, Ragnarok
    • The Adventures of Fred
      • The Fred Army grows strong!
  • Ark is a job.
  • GW2
    • I played Maguma Wastes with Sahba Jade!
  • Scrap Mechanic
  • Subnautica BZ
    • The Base of my dreams
  • Baldur’s Gate 3
    • Graphics and story are pretty awesome. The party members you pick up are interesting.
    • My thoughts so far… this game is kinda exhausting because combat takes a million years. If it were more like Dragon Age, it would be waaaaay better. It’s not intuitive and I wasted several combat turns by misclicking stuff. There is a learning curve there for sure. If I had played a Demo of this game, I would NOT have purchased it. It’s like tabletop D&D with better graphics, only, you can’t interact with party members while you play. (the way you could with Neverwinter Nights) So combat (while you wait for other people to figure out what they are doing and take ten years to make one decision) is arduous.
    • When you play Co-Op, you have to wait for other people to stop screwing around and come on. If you move forward too far, you will get accused of “Running ahead” when all I wanted to do was walk forward… Instead, the party behind you is sweeping every nook and cranny clean of junk stuff you can’t even use and you have nothing to do while you just stand there and wait.
      • My advice: Play with someone who has the same patience level or curiosity level as you.

Housekeeping!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the live show! Come join us in a few min as we play 7DTD AND GW2, here on this channel.
