Lessah jibberjabbers about things and Sahba corrects and Myth sleeps [zzzzz]:

    • Last night we went back to Amrath in order to torture our good friend Draculetta!  He is a very good sport, and we want to thank him, but he needs to know… we aren’t done with him yet.

Genesis Point

Last time, while we were roaming around in the battlefield we noticed a few buildings that we didn’t have time to investigate, so we decided to go back. On the way to Amrath we saw a couple of wolves playing ball. At least we thought they were playing ball but as we got closer we realized one was throwing red fireballs and the other seemed to be chasing them. It turned out to be Draculetta and Rent and they said they were practicing. Drac was practicing his aim and Rent was practicing his dodging ability. From the look of Rent’s scorched fur it seemed that Drac’s aim was pretty good but the fact that Rent was alive to talk about it proved that Rent did a darn good job dodging. We grabbed them both and took them into the battlefield with us. The first place we went was a called Genesis Point. When we got in there we ran into a guy who, I’m pretty sure though we were some other group because he quickly ran through a host of instructions and tasks we were to accomplish, we just went with it. What the heck, how bad could it be? It turns out that the place is an army base for the Devils. So, we released some prisoners, took out a few waves of soldiers consisting of devils, orthons, tieflings, trolls, and troglodytes. We roamed around in a maze which teleported us to another fight. Luckily we were able to open a portal and teleport ourselves back and finally we found a room that contained a grey pit fiend demon which we managed to kill pretty fast but his minions came in and swarmed around us. Lessah was barely able to get out of there with her life.

Bastion of Power

Next we went to a fortress that everyone calls the Iron Maw. Last week we talked to a guy who told us that the Iron Maw had never been conquered even though the battle has raged on for eons. He said that there is a way in that no one has used in so many years it’s been forgotten and that “someone” could go in through there and then open the gate to the Demon Horde outside. That way the demons and the devils could duke it out, basically eradicating each other and then that same “someone” could just mop up the stragglers. That way no one, especially the devils, would know how the fall of the Iron Maw happened. I guess our collective name is “someone” because into the hole we went! Everything went pretty smoothly, even though Rent and Lessah tried to get themselves skewered a couple of times, but it would have been nice to know there was a little pit fiend and a marilith waiting for us in there. Sheesh! Not that it really mattered, we had a great time taking them all down. The Iron Maw has fallen!! Woohoo!

Housekeeping!

  • Plea to the wonderful DDO Community!  I need an overlay.  Everyone has a cool overlay but me.  And watching YouTube How-To vids of overlays keeps putting me to sleep.  Please help teach a man to fish or maybe give me some fish!  (My very smart/ talented spouse can’t help me! I can say this, because he rarely listens to the show! He will never know I was talking good about him.)
  • Mythery – All of my housekeeping will now be given to the maid.   P.S. Fix the cold spells please. OK OK fine! I did some work. It was tough but I got through it and I did it for our fans! Both of them!

I got only mono sound, right ear only. And it's not my headset, which works fine in all other apps. This was for the Cordo/Severlen interview, since there are two videos on this page. Although it might just be the mic of Lessah, since it seemed that other people were in stereo.

The iTunes version of the show was edited to help the show sound a little more "normal". When I upgraded to Windows 10, my computer thought it was helping me...it wasn't. Still working on the problem! Until then, we just have to do our best :)

    1. Why would I NOT have a Gen Con 2017 countdown? 2. Ravenloft Expansion?
